Our History

Deliverance Temple Ministries was founded and established in 2006. DTM was the manifestation of a vision God gave to the late Pastor Risin. He was a man of faith and prayer, called to birth a ministry through years of fasting, intercession, and service alongside other pastors.

After much prayerful consideration, Pastor Risin and the Co-Pastor recognized that the only way to fully express the unorthodox message God had placed within him was to step out in faith and establish his own ministry—his own platform. Through sacrifice, prayer, and fasting, Deliverance Temple Ministries was born.

When asked why he named it Deliverance Temple Ministries, Pastor Risin explained that God’s people needed to be delivered and set free from the chains that bound them. His message was “Breaking chains, one link at a time.” He taught that the temple was not merely a church building, but the personal temples of believers—their souls—which must be kept holy.

This ministry was the outpouring of obedience to what God instructed him to do, no matter the cost. Those who knew Pastor Risin knew his assignment would not go undone. Nothing could stop him from completing the work God placed in his hands. He often said, “A true vision will outlive you.” And indeed, it has.

Pastor Risin was born in 1965 and was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of 16. He went home to see Jesus on April 10, 2024. He will be deeply missed, yet his legacy lives on. As evident today, the vision has outlived him. We love him, honor him, and will forever cherish his memory.

"Deliverance Temple Ministry has been instrumental in cultivating my relationship with Jesus and teaching us how to live - not just survive. Their unwavering support and guidance has transformed my family by creating a safe space for my children and I to heal."
